Find answers to common questions about booking parking, managing vehicles, payments, permits, and more. For a general introduction to how parking works, see the Parking Overview article.
Q: Why are my options different from what I see/ read in help articles?
A: Each organization manages parking differently. Availability, permits, pricing, and rules can vary, so your experience may not match others exactly.
Booking Parking
Q: Can I cancel or edit a booking?
A: Yes. You can cancel a booking before the cancellation deadline. After the deadline has passed, changes are no longer possible, but you may be able to submit an appeal.
Q: What happens if I don’t show up?
A: If you don’t cancel before the deadline, you may still be charged. If something unexpected came up, you can submit an appeal for review.
Q: Why was a parking location full earlier but available later?
A: Availability can change throughout the day. Other users may cancel bookings, or your organization may release additional spaces in phases.
Q: How do I book parking with EV charging?
A: Check the facility details to see if EV charging is available. In some cases, it will appear as a selectable option during booking. If your organization offers EV charging but you don’t see it as an option, contact your admin for more information.
For more details, see the Book Parking article.
Vehicle Registration
Q: Can I register multiple vehicles?
A: Yes. Most organizations allow you to add multiple vehicles to your account. When booking, you’ll need to select at least one vehicle for that reservation.
Q: Can I change my vehicle after booking?
A: You can switch vehicles before the cancellation deadline. After that, changes are no longer allowed.
For more details, see the Vehicle Registration article.
Payments & Charges
Q: Why are some payments shown in grey?
A: Grey payments are still under review and haven’t been finalized yet. This can also happen if you’ve submitted an appeal.
Q: When will I be charged for parking?
A: Charges are typically processed after your booking, once it has been completed and reviewed based on your organization’s rules.
Q: Why was I charged for a booking I didn’t use?
A: If you didn’t cancel before the deadline, the booking may still be chargeable. You can submit an appeal if you believe the charge should be reconsidered.
Q: Why does parking cost differ between users or locations?
A: Pricing is set by your organization and may vary based on factors like income-based groups or specific parking locations.
For more details, see the Payments & Earnings article.
Appeals
Q: How do I submit a parking appeal?
A: If you believe a charge or booking outcome is incorrect, you can submit an appeal through the platform. Your request will be reviewed according to your organization’s policies.
Q: What happens after I submit an appeal?
A: Your booking or payment will be reviewed. While it’s under review, related payments may appear in grey until a final decision is made.
For more details, see the Parking Appeals article.
Permits & Access
Q: I don’t see any permits. What should I do?
A: If no permits are visible, it means none are currently available to you. If you think this is a mistake, contact your admin.
Q: Why are my permits or options different from others?
A: Parking access is based on your organization’s setup. Not all users have the same permits, locations, or booking options.
Q: Do I always need a permit to park?
A: Not necessarily. Some organizations offer free parking without requiring a permit or booking, while others require both.
For more details, see the Parking Permits article.
