Booking a parking spot means reserving a space at a specific parking facility for a selected date. This ensures you have access to parking when you need it.
If you are new to parking, start with the parking overview to understand how parking is managed.
You can also watch the short video below for a quick walkthrough of how booking works in practice.

Your booking will appear in the Bookings tab. |
After booking: Viewing your reservation
Once your booking is created, click on it in the bookings tab to open the Booking Details.
At the top of the page, you will see a summary of your reservation. To learn more about where you are parking, click “View Facility Details”. This may include photos, opening hours, a description and a google maps link for directions.
Making changes to your booking
You can update your booking until the cancellation deadline. After that, it becomes view-only.
What you can change
If changes are still allowed, clicking into your booking lets you:
- Select a new date
- Choose a different facility (if available)
- Update your vehicle
- Change your trip method
- Cancel your booking
⚠️ Always click Save after making changes.
Trip logs and commute details
Each booking includes an Associated Triplogs section.
Here you can:
- Log your trip
- Edit your transportation mode
- Update time and route
For detailed instructions, see the article on trip logging.
Canceling a booking
Each booking has a cancellation deadline. This determines whether you can cancel or make changes.
How to cancel
- Open the Parking widget
- Go to the Bookings tab
- Select the red icon located next to your booking
- Click Cancel and confirm
After the deadline
- The booking becomes view-only
- Canceling may still result in a charge
Depending on your organization's guidelines, you may be eligible to appeal charges if you cannot fulfill your booking due to illness.
Payments and pricing
Parking is not always paid and depends on your organization.
- If payment is required:
- The price is shown before booking
- Payment is typically processed when you click Book
- The payment method (usually payroll deduction) cannot be changed
- If no price is shown:
- No payment is required
For more details on how charges appear, when they are deducted, and how refunds or appeal outcomes affect your balance, see the Payments & Earnings article.
