Sometimes plans change at the last minute. For example, you might have booked parking but can’t make it due to illness or an emergency. If it’s already too late to cancel your booking, you may still be able to request a review of the charge.
Parking appeals allow you to request a refund in these situations.
If you’re not familiar with how bookings and cancellation deadlines work, we recommend reading the Parking Overview and Book Parking articles first. These explain when charges apply and when cancellations are still possible.
Parking appeals are only relevant for paid parking. Not every organization offers appeals, and the rules may vary. If you’re unsure, check with your admin.
How to Submit an Appeal
You can submit an appeal in two ways:
1. From your booking
- Open your booking
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click Appeal this charge
- Add a short explanation
- Click Submit
2. From Payments & Earnings
- Go to Account → Payments & Earnings
- Find the charge you want to appeal
- Click Appeal transaction
- Add your comment
- Click Submit
This section shows your full transaction history, making it a good place to review past charges and manage appeals in one place.
What Happens Next
After submitting your appeal, you’ll see an overview of all your appeals.
You’ll also receive a confirmation email. Any updates or the final decision will be sent via email and (if available) push notifications. Push notifications require your organization’s mobile app to be installed.
Each appeal is reviewed by your organization. You can check the status at any time:
- Open the original booking and click View Appeal, or
- Go to Payments & Earnings and open the appeal there
Appeal Statuses
Each appeal will have one of the following outcomes:

Approved
Your appeal is fully accepted. You will not be charged, or you will receive a full refund. -
Reduced
Your appeal is partially accepted. You will receive a partial refund. -
Denied
Your appeal is rejected. The original charge remains unchanged.
How Refunds Work
What happens next depends on whether the charge has already been deducted:

If the charge has not yet been deducted
The charge will simply be canceled in your Payments & Earnings. -
If the charge has already been deducted
Any approved or reduced amount will be added to your Parking Balance.
Your parking balance is automatically used for future parking bookings.
