User Insights is a reporting feature in the Management Dashboard that helps organizations understand how users engage with mobility programs or parking solutions over time. By analyzing behavioral data, administrators can make informed decisions that improve program effectiveness and user experience.
With User Insights, managers can:
- Compare data across different months or years to identify trends
- Analyze behavioral changes and how users adapt to programs over time
- Apply filters to investigate specific users or groups
- Optimize resource allocation and program decisions
- Generate data-driven insights to improve the overall user experience
Where to Find User Insights
To access User Insights, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Management Dashboard
- Click Reports in the left sidebar
- Select User Insights
Overview of the User Insights Interface
The User Insights interface is organized from top to bottom as follows.
Top Row β Global Actions
At the top of the page, managers have access to two global actions.
The Clear Filters icon (a crossed-out filter symbol) removes all currently active filters and resets the view.
The Download icon exports all displayed data as an Excel or CSV file for use outside the dashboard.
Date Selection
Below the global actions, administrators can define the time period for analysis.
You can select a custom date range or choose a specific date to narrow the focus. Any change to the date selection automatically updates all data and insights displayed on the page.
Filters and Columns β Main Analysis Area
This is the most important section of the interface. It controls which users are displayed and what information is shown about them.
Filtering users:
Clicking the three-line filter icon opens the filtering options. Managers can include or exclude specific search terms to narrow results down to particular users or groups. This is useful for comparing segments, investigating a specific network, or focusing on a defined cohort.
Managing columns:
Clicking the three-dot menu next to any column header reveals additional options, including:
- Sorting data in ascending or descending order
- Pinning columns to keep them visible while scrolling
- Resizing columns for better readability
- Choosing which columns are visible using the Choose Columns feature
The Choose Columns feature is especially powerful. Administrators can select from a wide range of parameters to tailor the analysis, including:
- Name and email
- Network
- Total trips logged
- Bike trips
- Carpool savings
- Wage brackets
- And many other behavioral and engagement metrics
By combining filters with custom column selections, administrators can compare groups and build a detailed picture of user behavior to support informed decision-making.
βοΈPro Tips
Compare data:
You can export displayed data as an Excel file. For example, to compare 2025 with 2026, download both datasets and create visualizations in Excel for presentations or reports.
Horizontal scrolling:
If not all columns are visible on screen, scroll horizontally using your mouse or the gray scrollbar at the bottom of the table.
Pagination:
When a large number of users match the applied filters, results are split across multiple pages. Use the pagination controls in the lower-right corner to navigate between pages.
