Trip Log Insights gives you a flexible, detailed view of all trips logged in your program. Whether you're building a quick report or analyzing trends, this tool helps you get exactly the data you need.
Where to Find Trip Log Insights
You can access Trip Log Insights directly from the Management Dashboard:
- Go to the left sidebar
- Click Reports
- Select Trip Log Insights
This opens a table with all logged trips in your program.
Viewing and Sorting Trips
When you open Trip Log Insights, all trips are displayed in a table.
It’s helpful to sort by Date & Time (descending) so the most recent trips appear first—but you can sort by any column.
To sort the table:
- Click any column header (e.g., Date & Time or Trip Type)
- An arrow will appear next to the column name
- Now the trips are sorted descending
More sorting options:
- Click the three dots next to a column name
- Change the sort direction directly from descending to ascending
Filtering Your Data
Filters help you narrow down the data to exactly what you need.
- Click the three-line filter icon next to any column header
- Select or exclude values to refine your results
Example uses:
- Exclude trip types like Drive Alone or Carpool
- Focus only on active modes like Bike or Walk
- Combine multiple filters for more precise results
- You could choose to only display trips longer than 30 miles
Customizing Columns
You can adjust which data appears in your table.
- Click the three dots next to any column header
- Select Choose columns
- Add or remove fields as needed
This is especially useful when preparing reports or presentations.
Grouping Your Data
Grouping lets you organize trips into categories for easier analysis.
To group data:
- Drag a column header into the row labeled
“Drag here to set row groups” - The table will automatically group results
Example:
- Drag Trip Source into the grouping bar
- Trips will group by sources like Strava, Web Manual, App Manual, Parking Purchase, or GPS Recording
- Click the arrow next to a group to expand and view details
Exporting Your Report
Once your report is ready:
- Click the download icon in the upper-left corner
- Choose Excel or CSV
You can use the exported file for reporting, presentations, or further analysis.
If you need help building a report or finding specific data, our support team is happy to assist. If the data appears incorrect, please try clearing and reapplying your filters. Note that a blue dot in a column header indicates an active filter.
