General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) feeds are a great way to provide your commuters with access to local bus, train, vanpool, shuttle, or other options within their trip planning results.
GTFS files are an industry-standard format for providing scheduling and geographical information for public or private transit services.
These services create and publish the GTFS files detailing their stops, routes, and timing, which RideAmigos can then connect with to provide your users access when planning trips.
For more information about GTFS files, visit Google’s GTFS reference page.
RideAmigos will ask you about any relevant GTFS files for providers in your area when you’re getting set up with our platform. However, it’s possible that new options might become available after you’re up and running. If this is the case, and you need to add new transit, shuttle, or other providers to your system via their GTFS files, just submit a request and we’ll get you set up pronto.
