The Purchases page in the Parking section allows you to view, manage, and cancel parking reservations made by your users. It’s especially useful when you need to take action on multiple bookings at once.
Where to Find Purchases
To access parking purchases:
- Log in to your Management Dashboard
- Go to the left sidebar
- Click Parking
- Select Purchases
You’ll land on the Overview tab, which shows all parking reservations.
Overview Tab: View and Manage Purchases
The Overview tab displays a table of all purchases made by your users.
By default, purchases are sorted by Date (descending) so the most recent bookings appear first. You can change the sorting at any time.
Sort purchases
- Click on any column header, such as Date or Price
- Click again to switch between ascending and descending order
Filter purchases
Use the filter icon next to each column to narrow down your results.
For example, if a parking facility is unexpectedly closed:
- Filter the Facility column to that location
- Filter the Date column to the affected timeframe
- The table will update to show only the relevant bookings
Cancel Purchases
You can cancel individual bookings or multiple reservations at once.
Cancel a single purchase
- Find the booking in the table
- Click the red cancellation icon next to it
- Confirm your selection
☝️This will issue a full refund for the payment. Once a purchase is cancelled, the action cannot be reversed.
Bulk cancel purchases
Bulk cancellation is helpful in situations like weather closures or facility outages.
- Apply filters to identify the affected bookings
- Select the checkboxes on the left side of the table
- Click the red cancellation icon in the upper left corner
- Confirm your selection
☝️This will issue a full refund for those paymentens. Once a purchase is cancelled, the action cannot be reversed.
Customize and Export Your Data
You can adjust the table to fit your reporting needs.
Customize columns
- Click the three dots next to any column header
- Select Choose columns to add or remove fields
Export data
- Click the download icon in the upper left corner
- Export your filtered table as an Excel or CSV file
☝️If the data appears incorrect, please try clearing and reapplying your filters. Note that a blue dot in a column header indicates an active filter.
Purchases vs. Appeals
Both cancellations and appeals are handled by admins and can result in a refund to the user.
The difference is how they are initiated:
- Cancellations are triggered by an admin directly from the Purchases page
- Appeals are triggered by a user request and then reviewed by an admin
Cancellations are typically used for proactive actions, such as closing a facility or correcting bookings. Appeals are used when a user asks for a refund after the fact.
History Tab: View Canceled Purchases
The History tab shows all changes to purchases.
Here, you can:
- Review Booking Statuses: Track previously canceled bookings and identify who performed each action.
- Track Edits & Replacements: When a purchase is edited (e.g., changing the facility), the original record is marked as "Archived" rather than "Canceled" and is replaced by a new purchase entry.
- Navigate with Ease: Filter and sort results using the same functionality found in the Overview tab.
This is especially helpful when investigating issues. For example, if a user reports that their booking was canceled unexpectedly, you can check the history to confirm what happened and who made the change.
