How to Access CommuteHub
CommuteHub can be accessed in different ways, depending on how your organization has chosen to set it up. Below, you'll find an overview of the 5 most likely options.
Option 1: Download from App Store or Google Play
Some organizations provide a dedicated mobile app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
How to know:
You might have received an email, message, or seen a poster with instructions.
You were told to look for an app by a specific name (e.g. "My Commute").
What to do:
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Search for the app name provided by your organization.
Download and install the app.
Follow the login or registration steps in the app.
☝️ The name and logo of the app may be different for each organization.
Option 2: Use a QR Code or Link
Some organizations share a QR code or a direct link to the app or web version — often found on posters, intranet pages, or newsletters.
How to know:
You saw a QR code or link on internal communication materials.
The link led you directly to the app or web platform.
What to do:
Scan the QR code with your phone camera, or click the link.
You’ll be taken directly to the download page or web version.
Follow the instructions on screen and use SSO (single sign on) or roster sync if available.
☝️ For your security, only interact with links and QR codes from official organizational sources.
Option 3: Embedded in a Company App
In some cases, CommuteHub is already integrated into your company’s main app. That means you don’t need to download anything separately.
How to know:
Your company uses a central app for employee services.
You didn’t receive any download instructions for a new app.
What to do:
Open your existing company app.
Navigate to the commuting or mobility section.
Look for features powered by CommuteHub or RideAmigos.
☝️ No download required — everything is built into your company’s app.
Option 4: Web Access Only
Some organizations choose to provide a web-based version of CommuteHub. This works entirely in your browser, without the need to install an app.
How to know:
You were given a web link with no mention of an app download.
The link opens in your browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari).
What to do:
Open the link in your browser.
Log in or sign up based on the instructions. Preferably with the email domain of your organization, if applicable. You may be added to networks automatically based on your email domain.
Bookmark the page or add it to your home screen for quick access.
☝️ No download required — everything is online.
Option 5: Switching from a Previous App
If your organization previously used a different mobility app, CommuteHub may be replacing it.
How to know:
You were notified that the previous app is being replaced.
You received an update via email, app notification, or intranet.
What to do:
Follow the instructions given in the update.
Install or access the new app as described.
The access is probably similar to the previous app, i.e. with SSO, roster sync or the company email.
☝️ Read all the instructions carefully, there are probably some new features with the new app.

Having trouble? Try these common fixes
If you're having difficulty downloading or registering, here are a few things to check:
Double-check the app name: Make sure you're searching for the correct app, as your organization might refer to it differently. If you have a direct link, use that!
Check your spam or junk folder: Verification emails sometimes end up there by accident.
Confirm your email address: Ensure you've entered your work email address correctly, especially if your organization has specific domain requirements.
If you're still stuck, the CommuteHub help team or the Administrator in your organization will be happy to help you out.
