The Management Dashboard allows you to customize the visual appearance of your platform and add personalized branding. This includes uploading logos, setting background images, and choosing colors that reflect your organization's identity.
Branding settings are completely optional. You can leave the application exactly as it is—no branding or custom design is required for the platform to work. However, branding is strongly recommended because it builds trust and recognition among users.
In the following video, we explain who can change branding and appearance and how it works.
Who Can Configure Branding?
Admins: Can configure organization-wide branding that applies across the entire platform. Here is an article on how to assign Roles.
Managers: Managers can configure the branding and appearance for the specific networks they oversee.
☝️If you do not see the “Settings” option in the left sidebar of the Management Dashboard, your role is set to Manager rather than Admin. You can check your roles and permissions in the Roles & Permissions article. If your platform is part of a regional connected ridematching system your permissions may differ. Get in touch with your customer success manager or submit a support request if you have questions.
How Admins Access Branding Settings
- Log in to the Management Dashboard
- Click Settings in the left sidebar (if you are not an Admin, you will not see this option)
- Click Branding

The hero image appears on the main page of the user-facing app. It's typically used for your organization's logo, but any image works.
How to Add a Hero Image:

You can also use the Proxy as a User function to preview how your branding appears to users.

Background Color
The background color can be set using HEX codes (e.g., #FFFFFF for white). We recommend using lighter colors to preserve the readability of headings and text.
How to Set a Background Color:
- Enter a HEX code in the color field, OR click the color picker to select a color visually
How to Preview:
- Click the Preview button in the upper right corner
- Toggle between desktop and mobile views
- Check that text remains readable with your chosen color
How to Save:
- Click Save to apply your changes
How to Reset to Default (White):
- Enter #FFFFFF in the color field, OR click the Reset Color button
- Click Save
☝️Background color can be used with or without images. If you use both a background image and a background color, the latter will be only visible, if the image is semitransparent.
How Managers Access Network Branding
- In the Management Dashboard, click Users in the left sidebar
- Select Networks
- Search for and select the network you want to customize
- Open the Overview tab
- Scroll down to the Branding section
Primary Capable Networks
What is a Primary Capable Network?
A Primary Capable network can be selected by users as their Primary Network. The Primary Network determines the branding users see when they use the app. You can read more about Networks here.
Example: For organisations operating across multiple regions, each area can be configured as a separate network. When a user selects their regional network as the Primary Network, the application will then display that specific network's custom branding.
☝️ If you switch off the "Primary Capable" setting for a network, it is no longer possible to select branding for that network. The branding options will become unavailable.
Network Branding Options
Managers can customize the following for their networks:
- Logo
- Hero image
- Background image
- Background color
How to Configure Network Branding:
- In the Branding section of the network's Overview tab, upload or configure your branding elements
File Requirements:
- File size limits: 500 KB maximum
- Allowed formats: JPG, PNG, JPEG
- Recommended dimensions for hero image: 785 × 200 px
How to Preview:
- Click the Preview button in the upper right corner
- Toggle between desktop and mobile views
- Check that your branding looks good on all devices
How to Save:
- Click Save to apply changes to this network
☝️ Network-level branding only affects users who have selected that network as their Primary Network.
