As discussed in Networks – what? why? how? using networks is a great way to alleviate some of the administrative burdens of managing a large number of users.
Network managers are specially-designated users that can view and manage their assigned networks, including creating and managing programs associated with those networks. Learn more about network manager privileges.
There are two primary ways of adding and removing network managers: from the network or from the user profile. The best tool for the job will depend on what you’re trying to accomplish:
Want to add or remove multiple managers to a network? Use the Network > Managers section in the management dashboard. (This is the only option for basic Network Managers.)
Want to add or remove multiple network management privileges for a single user? System-level Managers can also edit users directly to adjust their permissions.
Add/Remove Network Managers
Manage > Management Dashboard > (Select Network) > Managers
Use the drop-down search area in the top right to find the user you would like to make a manager of the network you’re viewing:
You can easily remove existing Network Managers by using the row action button on the left and selecting ‘Remove Manager.’
Important Note: Adding a user as a Network Manager who is not already a member of the network does not automatically add them as a member. If the manager should also be a member of the network you will need to add them in the Members section.
Edit a User's Management Permissions Directly
Manage > Management Dashboard > (Select Network) > Members > Edit Member Row Action > Detail Tab
(Advanced Managers Only)
From the Edit User > User Details screen you can quickly add and remove Network Management privileges from any user. Find the User-Managed Networks area of the User Details screen, then choose a network from the drop-down menu to add them as a manager, or click ‘Remove’ to remove their privileges.
