What Are Journeys?
Journeys are intelligent automation tools that help you engage and communicate with your users effortlessly. When specific events happen in your transportation program (like launching a new challenge), journeys automatically trigger communications through email or in-app notifications. This ensures your users never miss important updates and stay actively engaged.
Accessing & Managing Journeys
Getting Access
Journeys require the New Management Dashboard, which is available at no additional cost. If you don't have access yet, contact your Customer Success Manager to schedule a free onboarding session where you'll learn dashboard navigation, journey management, and engagement best practices.
Finding Journeys in Your Dashboard
To view all journeys, navigate to the 'Journeys' section in the sidebar of your main menu. This page displays the journey's name, its enabled status, as well as its creation and last updated dates. With a later update, this will be the area to create your own journeys.
Monitoring Performance
1.Overview
When you click on a journey, you can monitor its performance and, in the future, edit journey settings. As shown in the image below, journeys are built with simple building blocks: a trigger (like "a new Challenge has started") followed by an automated action (such as sending an email to users).
2. Target Networks
This section shows which networks have the journey enabled. You can add networks by clicking the plus sign or remove networks by selecting them with a checkmark and clicking "Remove Network" in the upper left corner.
3. Journey Runs
This area displays message activity, showing which users received messages (email or in-app notifications) and when they were sent. This gives you complete visibility into all sent communications, allowing you to track delivery and troubleshoot if a user reports not receiving a notification.
