Intro

The RideAmigos survey tool is both powerful and flexible, allowing for custom surveys and tracking in the system. The tool can be used to conduct and report on standardized/compliance surveys, as well as leverage custom marketing and data collection opportunities. After surveys are conducted, cluster maps, and survey breakdown tools are available.

Features

  • Ability for system and network admin to create surveys by choosing from pre-formatted templates, or creating their own free-form template with drag-and-drop custom field creation/editing.
  • Ability to manage name, base location, number of expected responses, notes about survey, short-URL, and status of survey
  • When a survey is open, administrator is able to send out surveys to as many participants as desired and take surveys
  • During and after a survey’s completion, administrator is able to view responses by users as well as chart their responses on a cluster map if the built in location input is used.
  • Administrator is able to sort and select desired respondents, and send an email to them through the system or via their own email client (perfect for targeted marketing).

Survey Content Definitions:

Address: Has a user input each individual address component and verifies that it is geocodeable (street name and number, city, state, zip). The survey will not submit until a geocoded address is entered.

Location Auto Complete: Uses Esri geosearch, can pull anything from full addresses to just zip codes. Survey will not be submitted until an option is fully selected.

Text Input: Basic short answer question.

Number: Basic number entry question, you can set the range in the question creation area.

Select: Basic single choice from a dropdown.

Checkbox: Basic choices from a list, can select multiple or use an ‘other’ input.

Radio: Basic choices from a list, can only select one. Similar to ‘Select’ but a different style.

Matrix: Allows for a grid of common response options for a list of questions. Commonly used for sets of questions where ratings are given to each statement.
